Working from home for almost two years can have us all confused about what we should be wearing as we head back into the office. Here are some of my favorite essentials you need in your closet. the classic cardigan This is a must in your wardrobe. The right cardigan is not only comfortable but makes you look chic and can really complete an outfit.The basic Button down A necessity in your wardrobe. this piece is so versatile. Pair with some jeans and layer gold jewelry. Or Leave unbuttoned over a slip or body con dress. You really cannot go wrong with this basic and putting it on will automatically make you look more professional. the little black sundress A great transitional piece and staple for your closet. In my opinion a loose fitting dress is the most comfortable thing to wear to work. It doesn't hug your body, you have room to breathe and it is a great base for layering as the seasons change. The oversized blazer You can never go wrong with a blazer. And oversized, yes please! This timeless piece makes you look put together and all you have yo do is wear some basics underneath. Its loose, trendy and find one with a soft fabric and you will never want to take it off. You can even spice it up by adding different colored blazers to your wardrobe. The Go To Jean. JEANS JEANS JEANS. The American staple. The one piece of clothing that pretty much every person has a pair of. But some advice and listen closely, you need to find your pair and I mean the pair that was made for you, the pair you don't mind putting on at 7AM . The pair that is not too tight but has just enough room for you to eat all your meals without your jeans feeling tight around your waist at the end of the day. THE HOLY GRAIL OF JEANS. And once you find them you will never look back. And my advice to you, get them in every wash, every color and you will never have to go jean shopping again. My life saving pair are the 90s Ultra High Rise Straight Jeans from Abercrombie and Fitch and you bet I have them in every style and wash.
